You've Done Enough Learning. Now Execute.
Turn your ideas into action before they fade into another forgotten void.
Let’s talk about it.
A surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble of newsletters.
Sometimes I feel like I’ve been quiet online.
I could always post more.
Show more of the journey.
I’ve never been crazy active on socials in my life, just present enough for close friends and family.
At times I still think of being active as clout chasing or begging for attention or money.
Now that I’m older and wiser, I realised building a brand to make money isn’t such a bad thing, as long as I’m building with purpose and creating value.
Something you might have heard before, but for the newbies here, I always talk about how I built a few digital products last year and had a faceless health and fitness account.
It had potential, but I didn’t have the right message in mind. I was doing all these things without knowing who I was targeting and what pain point I’d be solving.
Even though I pivoted, I never stopped building.
I’ve been rebuilding myself.
So much time was spent researching the best website design.
So many hours wasted choosing theme colours and a font.
I could go on, but essentially I spent my time on the wrong things.
Now I’m absolutely clear with how I spend my time, and I make it public because how great is it to build where others can see your process, react to it, and have the lessons from it help you to refine it all?
Now you should know by now I spend my time building:
My experience and network in my 9-5.
My body and physical (pain) tolerance through fitness.
My understanding and comprehension of two languages.
My cultural awareness by travelling.
My creative flow by actively writing.
My quick tip for you today is based on the lessons I learned from the previous year to now.
Don’t spend it learning. Spend it creating.
That one shift changed everything for me.
I used to spend hours watching language learning tutorials or saving posts on the best writing hooks.
Naturally when we start something we want it to be perfect.
The perfect method or resource.
But by starting now and building fast, you’re able to get it done messy and fix it as you go.
I’d hesitate on posting certain Threads; now I just drop it and see how it resonates. If it does well, it’s something I can repurpose and create a variation from.
Researching ‘best language learning methods’ didn’t make learning the words easier. It was the hard task of diving in knowing I’ll be messing up constantly. The reading, the podcasts without subtitles and the language lessons have all helped my understanding.
I watched videos and searched about the most effective football drills or the best chest workout, but truthfully only putting it into action allowed me to deduce what worked for me and what didn’t. I only grew in size and got better weekly.
So much travel content, so many places to go. I took the leap of faith by moving away from research and actually booking the flights and getting myself out there despite any hesitation.
It’s never been perfect, but it’s all been real and that’s how I'm growing.
It gives me real-life experience where I’m able to share the things I’ve built with my own hands and the things I’ve seen with my own eyes.

The bottom line
You’re quick to run to AI for your troubles.
You want it done quick, fast and perfect.
But you neglect the power of the human brain.
Yeah learning can be fun, but we weren’t made to store and contain endless amounts of information that end up fading away into a brief memory.
My previous letter talks about note-taking, but if you’re just taking notes and not putting them into action, you’re wasting time just like I did.
I learned a lot of skills but I could have also accelerated my growth faster.
I did too much research into digital products rather than actually understanding what I need to build.
So speaking on that, I’ve got something powerful coming your way soon.
I thought it would be fitting to drop it here first.
If you’re struggling with any of these, be sure to keep an eye out for how I’ve been able to tackle it and utilise systems and frameworks to balance multiple interests.
Post-work exhaustion trying to pursue passions
Decision fatigue from too many interests
Feeling scattered and unfocused
Energy depletion and time scarcity
Energy mapping systems (not just time management)
Burnout prevention
Advantages of cross-pollination
